Sometimes a small spark can set off something big. I recently won Skriva magazine’s short story competition — and that little win has meant more than I expected.
My story, Sumpan’s bästa tomte (“Sumpan’s Best Santa”), was selected from over 500 submissions and published on the magazine’s website. I was also interviewed in Skriva, where I talk about how the idea came to me (spoiler: it started with a memory from a crowded Swedish suburb and a slightly worn Santa suit).
